This thread can be used for making jewellery and beading projects. It is stretchy, oval shaped and easy to tie knots in, to secure your ends.
 
 
It is made from fibrous elastic layers tht are bonded togther, meaning it frays slowly through wear and tear, rather than a quick break like you could get with the silicone elastic.
 
The benefit of this is that you often see the wear and tear in advance, so can repair/restring once its noticed, reducing the risk of it breaking while out and about (losing vital pieces).
